While this is our first feature of the upstart Russian label, there’s no denying the buzz building behind Gosha Rubchinskiy. If you follow any of the Street Style reports from the various Fashion Week celebrations, then you’ve seen these styles on tastemakers and celebrities like Ian Connor, Adrianne Ho and more.
Founded by Russian photographer and designer Gosha Rubchinskiy, the label has risen to worldwide popularity thanks to his distinct view of post-Soviet streetwear. Admittedly, some of these pieces are so obscure we’re not sure who could pull it off (slide 7).
But, having said that, we’ve got a feeling the Gosha Rubchinskiy Save and Survive Collection will be its most popular to date. The oversized silhouettes fit right in line with the trends started by OFF-WHITE, UNDERCOVER and Yeezy Season.
Mixed in with the off-the-wall pieces are some items you’d expect from a streetwear collection. Camo beanies, chore coats and sweats are all included. You can also see a preview of Gosha’s upcoming collabs with Vans and Reebok.
