To mark the end of Vans’ two week creative takeover of the city, Classic & London, House of Vans played host to the closing party of closing parties on Friday night.
House of Vans London is a multi use creative space at the heart of one of the worlds most inspiring cities. Housing a gallery, cinema, artists studios, music space, diner and a skatepark, the 3,000sqm space champions creativity and is dedicated to nurturing emerging talent and fostering community. Always free and open to all. Celebrating the Old Skool as the first ever Vans shoe to feature the iconic sidestripe, attendees showed up in their droves to party the night away under the arches to the cool collective grimey sounds of Logan Sama, Murlo, Mosca and Girl Unit. Headliner Hudson Mohawke completed the heavy line-up alongside some of the finest acts to hit the capital.
The House of Vans gallery space also played host to the Classic & London exhibition curated by VNA Magazine and showcased reworked versions of the iconic Oldskool from London based artists Will Barras, Inkie, Candy Lo, Stika and Miss Led. The cinema room screened the best in skate films and Ewen Spencer’s grime documentary Open Mic completing a full takeover of creativity.
