In order to wipe the bad taste out of your mouth from that awful The Editor x Saucony collab Butchaz showed us last week, we’ve got on deck a collaboration that’s sure to appeal to your senses. Our Scottish friends at Hanon have linked up with Saucony for a special edition hybrid of the Shadow 5000 and Master Control dubbed the “Shadowmaster.” While the name might have you thinking of hiding in seedy back alleys and pulling pranks on trann!es, these shoes aren’t meant for darker recesses.
The upper is all Master Control as grey pig suede (a favorite material of Ronnie Fieg) works in harmony with perforated full grain leather you can find on the saddle and tongue. Hanon launched this collaboration into the stratosphere with the safety orange satin liner and plastic accents. Tonal 3M hits on the toe box and back tab add a little more flash to the “Shadowmaster” along with Hanon’s flame logo on the tongue and insole. And in case that isn’t enough luxury for you, each pair will come with three sets of matching laces and a special edition cotton dust bag. If all of that has you as excited as us, then be ready for the Saturday, March 2 release date via Hanon.
Are you feeling the Saucony x Hanon “Shadowmaster?” Let us know in the comments.
