You knew Supreme wasn’t going to sit on the hottest floral pattern of the year without offering it on every garment from hoodies to tees, hats and beyond, right? That’s right AHOODERS. The Power Corruption & Lies floral pattern that has the world going nuts is now making its way onto three classic Vans models: the Era, the Chukka and the Sk8-Hi. The floral pattern is a direct rip from New Order’s 1983 album Power Corruption & Lies (soooo that’s where they got the name) which was inspired by English art director Peter Saville and incorporates the 19th century painting “A Basket of Roses” by French artist Henri Fantin-Latour.
All history aside, this latest collab from longtime partners Supreme and Vans is sure to have folks lining up from LA to London and all the way to Shibuya for a taste of that crazy print. The Chukka and the Era in the pack will feature a canvas upper with a leather lining that’s already reminding us of the Vans from the Comme Des Garcons pack last summer. The Sk8-Hi’s will also feature a mixture of suede and canvas that’s sure to have the ladies scratchin’ — and sniffin’ — the roses, trust.
As you might have expected, this latest Supreme x Vans collab will be available in-store in NY, LA, London and online on March 7th. For our Japanese AHOODERS, you can expect the pack to release in Japan on March 9th.
Are you hella hype the Power, Corruption & Lies print made it onto some Vans? Or do you wish it was only found on the bucket hat, hoodie and pocket tee this season? Let us know in the comments.
