Just like we told you about a month ago, Supreme and Comme Des Garçons SHIRT were working on a collabo collection to celebrate the opening of its Dover Street Ginza shop in Ginza, Japan and Ahoodie has the first look at the collection here. Taking some of the most iconic patterns and logos from both brands, the collection includes t-shirts, hoodies, button-up shirts, camp caps and also two Vans sneakers – the Authentic and the Sk8 Hi. Most pieces in the collection either feature an all over polka dot pattern or stripes of various sizes all utilizing the Comme des Garçons shirting fabric that gives the brand its allure — among other things. But don’t think that James Jebbia and Supreme wouldn’t leave their mark on the collection, either. Reversed box logos are seen on the hoodies, tees and camp hats, which helps round out the clean look of these pieces.
The two Vans sneakers in the collection, the Authentic and the Sk8 Hi, both feature Supreme and Comme Des Garçons SHIRT branding on the insoles while the stripes pattern covers the exterior on both shoes to help them work within the collection. This isn’t the first time this spring season that Supreme has teamed up with Vans, so expect the demand and availability to even eclipse last week’s Mike Carroll release. The collection will be offered through the new Dover Street Market in Japan on March 16 with a worldwide release at Supreme NY, LA, London, Japan and online via the webstore beginning March 16.
