The studio saved the best for last in the final X-Men Apocalypse trailer. While the appearance is brief, your boy and ours Wolverine pops into the action. If you assumed it might take Wolverine’s help to defeat a demigod like Apocalypse, it sounds like Director Bryan Singer agrees. We’ll have to wait until the film hits theaters to determine Wolvie’s exact involvement, but this is all the hype we need to make the push into May.
In addition to that cameo, we get a better look at more of the characters in the final X-Men Apocalypse trailer. There’s a ton of shots of Angel, who’s barely been featured in the previous clips. The same goes for Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee), who makes his first X-Men appearance since X-Men 2.
As you probably know, the newest X-Men film will focus on the original mutant, Apocalypse, who plans to create a new world order by destroying… everything. He recruits other powerful mutants to stand by his side including Magneto and Psylocke. The end result is a war to save the fate of humanity. Sounds pretty dope right?
Enjoy the final X-Men Apocalypse trailer above because the movie hits theaters May 27.
