If you’re reading this right now, then you can probably ditch your spot in line for the Yeezy 2 as we’ve got updated release information for what could be the shoe of the year. As quickly as detailed images surfaced of the Wolf Grey/Pure Platinum pair, word also began to spread that the release would be pushed back with Europe’s Solebox breaking the news last week. Now our comrades at Complex have been able to confirm through a Nike spokesman that the Yeezy 2 release has been pushed back to June from the April 13th release that already had kids camping out in Los Angeles.
The retail price on these is still expected to be $245, as we reported to you last week. If you’ll recall back in 2009, June was the final month in the three-month Yeezy release process where we saw the Zen Grey/Light Charcoal pair release in April, with the Net/Net pair releasing in May and the Black/Pink pair rounding out the releases in June. Does this mean we will be seeing the latest Yeezy 2 releases spread across the summer months? Our wallets certainly hope so. Make sure you stick with Ahoodie for more information as it surfaces.
